While competing is not the end all be all for any partnership… At Hounds Creek Equestrian we enjoy participating in monthly schooling and USEA rated competitions to help us test and strengthen our skills and nerves and deepen our bonds with our horses. Not only does picking competition dates help keep motivation for riders it also brings us closer together as a barn family and team.

From coaching riders at their very first show/event to guiding riders into top placings at national competitions I have done it all. Quality coaching at shows starts before even getting to the show, I always try to have a plan ahead of time for each rider depending on their needs and I make sure that any show where I have multiple riders competing that I have plenty of time to help them in their warm-ups. It’s a huge downfall when a coach cannot be there for you in those last stressful moments before you enter a competition ring, so I really strive to be there from start to finish as much as I can at every show. When you are riding with me, I have as much invested in you accomplishing your goals as you do! My students regularly place first through third at and have achieved top 10 placings at national competitions.

When it comes to shows, all students and owners split my travel cost, meal cost, and it’s $45 for each phase I warm you up for. Shipping fees do apply for any horses that I haul personally.

Since beginning her competitive Eventing career Coti has had 10 event wins and has placed 1-3rd in nearly 50% of her USEA career starts.
